This blog showcases the strangest books I can find. I am particularly drawn to: books that surprise me by existing in the first place; books that I have no desire to read but want my friends to read; books that no one can really read; books that, like people, are pretty on the outside but ugly on the inside; books that embrace their own stupidity; long lists of things, published as books; damaged books; books that nobody has read for a very long time; books that nobody will ever read again; books without authors; and books without texts.
Each post provides a photograph of the strange book at hand, some brief notes about the book and what makes it strange, and occasionally a link to help you get a copy. Please contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or corrections about these books or my notes on them. I will try to leave all the doors and windows open.
